Race the Arc and Fastnet, two fantastic races for any sailor

Find out about two incredible yacht races which will test all of your skills and sailing technique and be an incredible experience. Both of these races attract hundreds of people each year and are great fun as well as a real test.

Yachting is fantastic hobby as well as sport, and it is exciting, requires a lot of skill as well as knowledge and patience. It can be great fun getting out on the water and racing or just enjoying some time out at sea, and another great aspect of yachting is that it is very social and you will meet lots of people and create lots of friends. It is hugely popular all around the world, and it is no surprise really as it is such good fun and very addictive. Every year there are lots of fantastic races all around the world, and entering into one of these races would be a truly incredible experience whether you are looking to win or just want the fun of taking part.

Two very popular races include the ARC (Atlantic Rally for cruisers) where you sail across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria all the way to Saint Lucia, and this attracts hundreds of boats every year and is quite the spectacle. Another popular race is the biannual Fastnet Race which will test both your offshore and inshore skills and speed potential. This race starts off in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and finishes at Plymouth and is a 608 nautical mile race.

Why not test your skills and race the Arc and Fastnet? Both events are a huge amount of fun and will test all of your skills. It would be a fantastic experience and something that you will remember forever.
